Rockies Counseling Center
Rockies Counseling Center provides high-quality, low-cost psychotherapy and assessment to individuals, couples, and families in the Pikes Peak area. Our services are available for a flat fee of $25 per session. A sliding scale is also in place for those with limited ability to pay. Master’s and doctorate psychology students of University of the Rockies use the Center for on-site training.
The Center fills two needs: the needs of students to practice their psychotherapy skills and integrate their academic learning in a clinical setting, and the need of this community for a wide range of low-cost psychotherapy and assessment services.
To make an appointment, call 719.442.0606 and leave a message with your name and phone number. An intake provider will return your call promptly.
Psychotherapy sessions are held only at the Center. Appointment times are available Monday through Saturday (including evenings Monday through Thursday). All therapy sessions are completely confidential but will be recorded for student supervision and training purposes only.*
*In some circumstances, breaching confidentiality is required by law. In such circumstances, you will be informed by your intake provider or therapist.
Rockies Counseling Center does not discriminate against or refuse professional service to anyone based on race, gender, religion, national origin, or sexual orientation.
We do not accept insurance, but our services are available for a flat fee of $25 per therapy session. Groups are individually priced depending on the group. Psychological assessment costs vary depending on the services requested. A sliding scale is also in place for those with limited ability to pay. Annual or monthly family income will be used to determine sliding scale rates.
Payment is expected at the beginning of each session.
